Welcome

Hi, I'm Nora, a Researcher, Facilitator and Consultant. I support organisations to have better conversations about how businesses can respect human rights - and take action.

My work is rooted in the UN Guiding Principles for Business and Human Rights and extensive experience in applying them in practice. I have worked in and with a diverse range of companies, civil society organisations and multi-stakeholder-initiatives.

My clients include global brands across consumer goods, textiles, agriculture, technology, renewable energy, public bodies such as the UN Global Compact or the German state-owned enterprise Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), large NGO's as well as small, community-based human rights groups.

I have been witnessing how entrenched differences and misunderstandings of purpose between different stakeholders in business & human rights get in the way of actually improving people’s lives. With my work, I want to help change this. I believe in challenging convention and continuously seek to support more genuine, meaningful collaboration.

Currently, I am working with Focus on Labour Exploitation on a pilot with migrant fishers in Scotland while continuing an advisory project in the textile sector. Nevertheless, I am always happy to connect and discuss ideas so do get in touch.
